The Anxiety Counseling Clinic
Enhancing Courageous Healing
Evidence-based therapy services for anxiety and trauma
Tannah Elise Chase, M.A., Ph.D.
Anxiety can manifest in many ways (worry, panic attacks, health anxiety, OCD, stress, insomnia), and trauma can range from ordinary stressful life events to emotional and physical abuse and life-threatening situations. My passion and expertise is helping people heal and recover from everything on the spectrum of anxiety and trauma. These struggles can hold us back from living the life we want to live and from being our authentic selves. They can even cause us to behave in ways that conflict with our morals, values, and belief systems. This creates what we call, “psychological injury.” We may not be able to SEE this type of injury, but it can be just as impairing as a physical injury. Healing psychological injury is a valid need. If you can relate to this, you are not alone.
Contrary to popular belief, courage is NOT the absence of anxiety and posttraumatic stress. Courage is taking the steps to heal, live in alignment with your values, and be your authentic self. My passion is empowering people to overcome through courageous healing.
I provide evidence-based therapy, which I customize to your individual values and goals. I strive to be compassionate, shame-free, educational, and holistic in my approach. I also provide tangible skills to help you overcome and heal. If this resonates with you, I encourage you to reach out, because everyone is deserving of healing and peace.
